Looking for a computer to do video/photo editing

I’m not sure if this is the right thread.. but I’m looking for a computer to do video/photo editing with GoPro as it’s a pain in the ass on the phone app. Any recommendations for a compact computer that could handle that? I wouldn’t need massive storage as I can move everything to a cloud afterwards. Thanks

Yea, I love my MBA M1 for video editing. Use iMovie mostly, with some Final Cut Pro. $1200 with education pricing, fastest rendering laptop I’ve owned. Storage upgrade too expensive, so for extensive projects I use an external SSD.
