He'll need a lawyer because Dangerous Driving is a criminal offense and a conviction almost certainly means never entering the US, again.
How's he gonna get trained up in "PhD-level" realty courses like CCIM without traveling to AmericaTown?

One rarely gets convicted on the criminal one. 99% of the time it’s knocked back down to a big fine and a year suspension on the non criminal version of the charge.

After 51km/hr I suppose it doesnt matter anymore it all goes to court, but this guy was definitely pushing it hard.

Wonder what hitting a moose or deer at those speeds would be like

Especially when everyone hogs the left lane and our drivers don't have autobahn discipline.

Not me, but friends. And yea with a lawyer. Going into a criminal charge with no lawyer is the quickest way to get a criminal conviction lol.

My trick is much better. I went faster and didn’t get caught.

Dash pic from the cruiser is taken just past of the weigh station /rest stop/boat inspection pullout on the south side of TC #1. it's wide open there and RCMP usually camp at that pullout. I'm truly shocked that on a sunday, he found a stretch of #1 that had little or no traffic to do that. (or maybe it wasn't wide open and he did it anyways....). i suspect he saw the lights come on up ahead LONG before he got to the actual cruiser and just (smartly) decided to pull over.

I saw the F40 of everyone's favourite pawn shop owner ceramic pro after he hit a deer at a speed presumably higher than 51km/h over the limit... Wasn't pretty.

Been a while since I got a pink, but the two times I did they both ended up a huge fine and 6 points. I went in with a lawyer, aint gonna risk my life on not spending an extra few dollars.

This guy is probably fucked now with the book thrown at him with the media coverage. Even then, I dont think he's gonna get anything other than a huge fine.

With the traffic on number 1, you will need to slow down a few times. RCMP told me it took her 30 mins to catch up?! I couldnt drive as fast as Rage2... But out running them is definitely doable.

Depends on how busy they are or where they are, they might not have someone in front to stop you. Once you get into the city and make a couple of turns, there is no way they can track you.

I was about an inch from hitting a good size black bear going pretty quick in my car the other day. Wife and I both just about shit ourselves, I was driving the Lamborghini and in any other car I would have creamed it.

This is beyond pink. Pink is just mandatory court appearance. Criminal is an 8.5x11 sized ticket haha.

Fixed :D

I've found that if you can make a few quick turns and hide before they get close enough to you works, sometimes. A crowded highway is not the place to do this.

Getting hit with the night sun on the hawks chopper is trippy BTW. I've been hit with that once.

Does a criminal offense come with impounding the car? They can't seize it right?

Suddenly RCMP has a 911T ghost car

It's been a while since I've known anyone to get one, but in all 3 cases, car wasn't seized. Was free to drive off. Last one was 10 years ago.

One was a super bullshit case back in the 90's. Friend was a Chinese guy that barely spoke English. Driving on Shaganappi by Varsity drive, going 30 because the roads turned to black ice and he had summer tires on. Spun out going 30, cop was there, questioned him and somehow gave him a criminal charge for that. Cost thousands in lawyer fees for a not guilty verdict. Either he said something wrong in bad English, or cop was just racist. I was in the car behind him, and ended up being a witness at trial. Fun experience.

When I heard this on the radio I thought for sure this was someone on beyond haha

172 on Stoney was my last big one. The officer let me continue to ride to work but I tell ya, he was so pissed and really let me have it. That cost me around $2300 total to keep my license.

You can outrun the helicopter, just depends of how much flying time it's had after the last refueling and when/where it's called out for the chase. When shit use to go down in Black Diamond or Turner Valley, it always turned into a high speed chase because of highway access. The RCMP would call in the CPS helicopter and I don't recall it ever being
successful in helping arrest anybody in any of the reported rural chases. In the mid 2000's, the end report would usually be the helicopter ran low of fuel and had to be called off and RCMP lost the suspects. Hopefully the new helicopter they have is more capable than what they were flying mid 2k.

Hawcs has two brand new H125's, but they still only have 4-1/2 hour flight capability (the same the previous EC120)
