2.5 Billion in 1950 to 8 Billion now.

Birth rates overall are declining worldwide as education and healthcare standards increase. Infant mortality in 3rd world countries continues to be a prominent issue, where some African countries are still having 5-9 to simply increase the odds of survival.

What does that mean, they are eating their babies?

Wife and I are approaching our 40s and still no kids, maybe if we met in our 20s things would be different. Either way we both have busy lives and jobs. Someone needs to keep this economy going so those on social welfare can keep leeching.

Peanuts!!

Standing shoulder to shoulder, every person on earth would fit in just Las Angeles.

With something more reasonable, like the population density of Union city New Jersey, or New York city, you could fit every person on Earth inside just Texas.

We have LOTS of space.

The way things are going, I'd say we are on track for the "Canadian Wastes"
