Can a Garmin be used with Fitbit app?

Recently got my wife a Garmin smart watch. She's had a Fitbit for several years before this.

She likes the form factor of the Garmin but is not a fan of the Connect app, finds it to complicated, and misses the easy to read of Fitbit app.

Can a Garmin be used with Fitbit app?

Are there alternative views on Connect to dummy it down to look more like Fitbit app?

Does she just want to know how many steps she takes?

I feel like that shit syncs between pretty much every fitness platform so I gusss just sync Garmin connect to the Fitbit app and never use connect again?

I don't think they talk to each other.

Fitbit is good for sleep tracking, Garmin is better for everything else.

The connect app is awkward. Garmin isn't great for UX

Yeah its the sleep tracking she liked most about fitbit, and the awards/badges.

I prefer the sleep tracking in Garmin over Fitbit. I actually prefer everything in Garmin over Fitbit. I just wish it would sync to Google Fit.
