A&B Sound downtown is my favourite. It's in an old bank building and it's a really cool space and atmosphere.

It's right beside Fuddruckers, near Woodward's. I think it's where Sam The Record Man was.

Recordland surprisingly has CDs to peruse. Otherwise, thrift stores are an alternative option.

Also MusicWorld>A&B Sound

What's wrong with Sunrise Records in the mall?

Probably looking for the old school browsing physical media experience.

I used to enjoy how HMV and Sam the Record Man in Market mall were both right next to a back hallway, you could go to one, find what you want and then zip over to the other to price compare. TIL HMV stands for His Master's Voice.

The stupid thing about Record Land is their prices for CDs are still the same today as they were over 20 years ago: $10/cd or $25 for 3. Seems like a rip off for a dead medium.

I would just keep browsing Kijiji/Facebook Marketplace. My sister's boyfriend's car has an old CD player so they scored a stack of 100+ CDs off Kijiji for $30 a few months back.

Ya im looking for a cd I can't find anywhere. It's a bass CD from 1996. Found it on YouTube but I can't find it for sale anywhere.

Figured YouTube would have a diminished quality.

Ya I was in record land today, their prices are outrageous, but I would have paid an average price fir the one I'm looking for. They told me to go to a music store to find bass CDs.

I don't know how reputable that seller is. I've been in a similar boat and bought a CD from some country whose alphabet doesn't seem to use vowels, and it all worked out.

This and places like Value Village.
You could try UK Ebay. I sold a lot of my old CDs back in the day on that.
