Bump...

Benefits cover $70 for eye exam/check up and $250 for glasses. This is every two years. (Benefit becomes available every two years.)

Is that on par with other workplace benefits? Because I think that's extreme dogshit, especially so in the post-covid era.

Eyes are terrible on any plan I've ever had. I believe my current one is free exam every two years and more like $150 toward glasses.
I see well enough to spot horse shit.

Same. They've always been two years and shit coverage, but supplemented by HSA.

Allegedly so people without glasses don't feel screwed over, but if that were really the case they'd do the same with the other bullshit benefits like Naturopathy

That’s been my experience as well for the last 20 years. I’ve ordered my last few pairs from Zenni and the pricing is very reasonable for the progressive safety work and sunglasses I have.

Apparently coverage for glasses has gotten incredibly expensive recently, basically premiums that are near 100% if the annual coverage.

A lot of plans have stopped covering and HSA is a better deal as it’s more flexible for most.

Work benefits eliminated our HSA and eye coverage but increased hearing aid coverage which nobody uses at work. Brilliant

I wish Dani Smith had her HSA in place by now. All the dippers cry about it but I could be using that $300 lol.

Damn dippers.

Yea fuck the dippers for getting in the way of government handouts.

Wait. What?

Haha. It’s like we are living in an alternate reality where dippers who don’t understand policy hate the things that would help them.

Wait… they routinely don’t understand policy…
