I think it looks like two different colors of truck. And I would be unhappy if it was mine.

Fucking horrendous. Name and shame. That’s going to affect resale too if you leave it.

Let me see how they respond first. They've been good to me in the past.

How did they fail that? I know paint fades but not to that degree. And if they can't match it should be a whole truck re-spray.

That's not even a different shade, that's a straight up different paint code lol

I do like both blues but not like that, everywhere you go people will notice that blatant blunder.

Get them to paint the hood and the roof to match the box. A truck mullet.

They're going to fix everything and are quite awesome about it.

The box is without a doubt darker. Both look nice, but not together..

I initially thought this was a joke as I thought it was the lighting causing it. lol

I believe the cucks prefer you call it “mixed-race”.

The fact that they just gave it back to you like that is pretty bad even if they fucked up on the paint. But when my car was rear ended, it took them 3 paint jobs to fix. First paint job, paint overspray, clear coat run everywhere and dust nibs all over the clear coat. 2nd paint job started rusting after 5 months. 3rd paint job finally all issues fixed.

Should do a colour fade transition at the back door, give it a 5/6 drop :burnout::burnout:

That's nuts!!! Glad they're addressing it. Crazy they even let it leave the shop like that!!! I've drop off parts for the guys at my fav shop and they've been able to colour match without needing the entire car, so this is nuts.

You have to love the "maybe he won't notice" attitude of the body shop in question. Tells you that their quality standards are pretty low when they consider that good enough to deliver to a customer.

Glovebox code... typo/transpose along the way even just of the tweak... in shop lights I can totally see it. Sunlight vs shop lighting very different. Probably looked pretty close in the shop.

That's what they said. They had no problem scheduling me in for a fix. So good on them.

Totally agree this may have looked fine indoors at the shop. Daylight is tricky stuff. Would be nice if they had a method for avoiding this, but still the fact they'd fix it is probably about as good as anyone can expect.

Good paint shops have good lights to prevent this. Letting this out of the shop and to the customer is pure laziness and incompetence.

Did nobody pull this outside and look at it and question it? This is a very obvious issue and the picture shown isn't even a bright day.

Jesus what kind of paint shop is this that doesn't have proper lighting? Lightning has a drastic effect to the finished product as there's a reason that auto body shops that carry OEM certification are required to meet minimum paint booth lighting requirements.
