Wondering if anyone here knows much about this new AMA initiative.

Looks like they are targeting low Km (<9000) drivers and people with an extra vehicle.


Since i bought my car in 2012 its only got 109xxxkm so Im just on the edge of that for my personal vehicle.

Going to be a reality for everyone eventually, but I'll avoid it as long as financially feasible.

I think you are not the target market. They don't want enthusiast cars in this program. It's for old people who drive very little.

They specifically mention seasonal vehicles and pickup trucks. I think I’ll look into it for my second truck that is only used for weekend towing, although the 300 km/day allowance would be a problem during camping season.

Unless it's averaged out throughout summer months. Probably not though lol
