First Car Suggestions?

Hi, I kinda need some help selecting my first car under $5000. Also it should be cheap on insurance cause I'm 16 and can't really afford 6k a year for insurance because I'll be going under my own name.

Well, for 5K you can get a very decent first car.

As for type of car because of insurance, that dosnt matter. The way it works now (Atleast with my insurance company) is that the car's insurance price is determined by AGE, and not by classification. So a 1990 Ford Escort would cost more to insure than a 1988 Toyota Supra Turbo Targa.

As for first car, just bascally pick a car that YOU like. Dont ask what other people like because for the most part, they are by-ass'ed lol.

Give us a little more info, do you want a fast car? reliable car (hahah... good luck)? Comfortable car? etc

Yes I did want a fast car and I phone state farm and asked for a 90 celica and they said 5600$ for insurance. How much are you guys generally paying for yours when you are young
