I saw an ad for this spray posted on the MBCanada forum and was wondering if anyone has had any experience using it.

On another forum someone posted up a picture of theit license plate seemingly disolving (The paint was chunking and it looked terrible) because of one of those sprays!

I've seen covers that work but I know for a fact that the police will pull you over and give you hell for having a cover. The spray MIGHT work but I doubt it. I don't know if this charge exists but you may be risking a ticket for tampering with your plate.

In Australia, they have a licence plate frame (not cover) that has a slave strobe built into it. When the photo radar camera flashes, the licence plate cover has a strobe light that flashes back, effectively 'blinding' the camera and ruining the picture.

I've been wanting to try to rig one of these up in a ghetto fashion for a while with a photo diode and a cheap strobe from a disposable camera, but the photo radar units don't always use their flash so I'm not sure it's worth it.

Oh, and I'll bet the spray doesn't work. If you want to see for sure, take a picture of your plate from about a 30 degree angle and see how it turns out.

the best and easiest way to beat photo radar is to put a bike rack or soemthing ont he back of your car, if the plate is not 100% visible then they can not process it, and its not likely that a cop is gonna waste his time to pull you over and give you a $54 ticket for having an obstructed license plate.

what about something autmatic that kinda shakes your liscence plate at super-sonic speeds and shit, so if a picture is taken, theplate isn't visible cause it's being shaken so fast.?

I don't think such a product exists. :nut:

To test whether or not it works i vote that we pick a newbie give them a bottle let them drench themselves in this product and make them go streaking. If the product works then there will be a string of bank robberies and murders with no trace of a assailant. On the other hand if it doesnt work it will be the best owning ever! :D

how would the frame know that the cop is taking a picture and activate the flash? :dunno: also most photoradar pictures are taken during the day :poosie:

Or you can do what we did in Ontario...Give the leading government the boot!

No politician in their right mind will even raise the issue here again. :whipped:
