echoing speakers

All of sudden my speakers on the comp started echoing every damn thing! It so annoying lol. I have not changed any settings or modified my audio setup in anyway and this problem suddenly appeared.

I tried a few things like, muting certain stuff, gettin rid of the mic, changed some settings but nothing is affecting it so i have no idea now.

So anyone else experience a similar prob?

an almost gauranteed fix is to update your drivers.

edit: updated drivers, now my sound hella screwed, losta static and shit

well i fixed it, had somethin to do w/ digital output

FUCK man, creative drivers are so shitty. theyve caused a major system meltdown on my comp like 5 times.

ive got an audigy with a livedrive that i ripped off my old sblive. how are u using it? just straight 2 channel from the green hole?

yea their drivers suck. its on 4 channel, but thats pretty much 2
