I wanna buy some good 11.5 g clay chips. Anyone bought some good ones in Calgary for a really good price? Or has anyone bought any of the clay ones off ebay? I want a decent set with that nice casino feel and sound!

I also am looking, but can't find anyplace that sells the casino clay ships. Only the cheap plastic shit.

Haha, I recently crashed my car so I'm pretty poor right now so depending on what kind of stakes you guys play for I'm in. I'm a texas hold 'em kind of a guy as well - don't really play any other pokers.

My friend bought a set of chips 500 piece, 11.5g the whole bit. We played with them last weekend and they were great.
You can't beat the price of these for what you get.
They are better quality than the ones at Costco.

Here's their link....

Goto Gracie & Gruff Fine Toys on McCleod next to Ranchmans. They have some nice sets there.

Best deal in Calgary BY FAR is the Costco 500 set for $50.

11.5 grams, 2 decks of cards, dealer button, dice, all in a locking metal case.

:werd: Myself and a few guys at work all have the same set. The chips in the Costco set are the only ones I have found that have a good heavier "clunk" sound when you rattle the chips against each other rather than the cheap "clink" you get from the plastic ones. Nice pattern around the rim for the design and not quite as cheasy looking as a lot of the knock-offs that you see all over the place. Plus at $50, that's a great price. They used to be $75 or so when Costco first got them a few months ago.

http://www.4acespoker.ca/

and

http://www.straightflush.ca/

should have everything you need. www.straightflush.ca even delivers right to your house, sometimes even on the same day you order free!

both are sponsors on www.flushdraw.ca, so if you have questions or want to read about other customers experiences with these guys, then come by the forums

I just bought these from Straightflush.ca

http://www.straightflush.ca/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=WPT500S

I ordered them at 6pm and they were on my door step at 7:45pm. They are awesome chips. I have a costco set and they don't even compare...there is a reason they are $50
