I live in Southern California and I really want to buy a Mitsubishi FTO. Does anyone know of any for sale in the U.S. and if not, how do I import one and how much does it cost? Right hand drive would be great, also.

hm, yea FTOs are pimp, the backs remind me of 911s, sorta, from far away, with a blurry windshield , lol, nice cars tho, here in canada u hafta wait 15 years for a car to be legal for import, not sure bout the states, ud hafta ask some1 maybe on a USA based forum who knows the rules well, maybe Motorex would?

You have to wait for the car to be 20 years old in the states before you can import it. Might as well scrap that idea anytime soon

Because motorex performed the necessary crash tests to make the r34s street legal, thats why they charge a fortune for them. Don't call my facts horse shit unless you know what youre talking about...thanks

RHD is great because it's different. I just love it for some reason

They were sold in Europe & Japan. The top of the line model came with a 2.0L V6 (200 hp) with MIVEC (mitsu's version of VTEC) and look sweet. Come to think of it, I want one too.
