this is alarm and starter, can start ur car from a mile away.
with All the hype with fm and ss,
the main differnece is FM, no vibe, works at 450 mhz
SS with vibe, (usefull when u r at a loud location) works 900mhz,
also has code hopping ... fm doesn't have this feature,,,

Spread spectrum randomly spreads its signal over 50 different frequencies of the 900mhz band. The FCC allows compustars parent company, firsttech, to put out several times the wattage with this setup. These code hopping transmitters allow for multiple transmitters to operate on the same frequency, so they are less succeptiple to interference ( this is why they are allowed to have several times the output of conventional trasnsmitters!)
