Hey, this is sort of a noob question (since ive never had a capacitor before) - my friend has one and was wondering how to charge it without the charging bulb/resistor, because I know that any fuses he has on the line will blow due to the initial current draw of the empty cap if he just hooks it straight up.

Thanks!

Qucik question, did a search but didnt find it.

When hooking up a cap do you hook up both the battery + and amp + to the + terminal of the cap, and the - terminal to ground?

hook up the power wire from the deck to the cap to the amp (all to the positive terminal) The cap should be grounded on its own
