I Give a Fuck, and no there is no drama here just a simple question,
Thanks for the informative post though.
ya, it all depends on how you define drift though. i personally think so, especially when put in a rally perspective but some folks dont see it my way, lordy only knows why! :D .
there have been some fierce argument on this already so you could do a search and just read through some of the threads and form your own opinion.

or an AWD car...:burnout:
RWD is by far the easiest platform on which to drift with, but you on a FWD, there was a vid of a Civic that was drifting along side some RWD Silvias a lil while back, can't seem to find the thread though...
But if you wanna dori dori, then pick up a RWD beast...

Whether you agree if its drifting or not (I don't  ) the main difference between a RWD drift and a FWD drift:
RWD:
You turn in and hit the gas pedal, then you turn out to control your drift.
FWD:
You turn in and pull the e-brake until the rear wheels slide. Most ebrakes have a locking button on them, its best to disable this if you want to do this maneouvre on a regular basis, or keep your the release button held down with your thumb. Then you just vary the amount of e-brake pressure in order to keep control of the drift.

I have a stupid question of my own - what exactly is a DSM'er?
It would also be nice to know why nismoS14 posted those shit eating "smileys"? I didnt see anything "dramatic" about dog's question, and found the answers given to be informative.
