Alarm related issues

I have a 99 Eclipse and the factory alarm is going nuts .
It went off today for no reason and then wouldnt turn off . I had to unhook the battery cable . So I finally got the alarm off by disconnecting the battery cable . I turned the alarm on then disarmed it and opend the door and it went off and again wouldnt shut off . Could it be the battery in the transmitter ? or is thier a problem in the brain


any clues ?

when you disconnected the battery cable it could have Re-set the alram maybe? you might just have to re-program it. Call your dealer they will be able to answer this question

I had to disconnect it to get the alarm to go off . I have had the dealer reset it . I think that there is something wrong with the brain .
