View Full Version : I Raced A Porche Cayenne

That is right, here is how it happened. it was around 10:45pm me and my friend were in my MBZ E class driving to the market to pick something up, when my friend noticed that there was a Porche Cayenne so we busted a bitch, and followed it and noticed there was 2 of them. One silver and one black, so we followed them for a bit, asked the guy a few questions, he said the car is really fast 70-120, especially on the freeway, he floored it for us a few times, he said he was from Georgia ( we are from the Los Angeles area) and they were just testing the cars. Anyway so i floored it and he floored it, and um, that was my race :D

BTW it was the
4.2L/449-hp 442 lb-ft twin-turbo V-8

it comes out at the end of the year, early next year.

its a sweet fusion car...but...like if you got the money to buy a porsche, get sports CAR...

im still so dissapointed in porsche for sellign out and building a sport ute..I expected it from Mercedes and hell even BMW but Porsche!:dunno: :thumbsdow

i belive i saw about 8 in a row on i-15 going north to las vegas a few weeks ago.


I was checking out the cars when i was driivng and the licenses all said georgia and said distrubutors so i guess they were down there for work.

There's going to be Cayenne clones everywhere too... most of them will be badged as VW's, since it's a joint VW/Porsche project.

The last time VW and Porsche put together a project under both names was the 914... it took like 10 years after they ended production of the car before it became successful.

yes rebadged as a VW Tourag, and Audi OffROad. The audi and vw actually look nice though. When i saw the cayenne from the back it looks like a giant Passat.

I like the look of the Porsche Cayenne, it's a nice blend:)

Once he saw what i was driving, he phoned his buddies in germany and told em its time to rebuild the company from the ground up so they have something to keep up with my fast ass E class.

Dude armin you drive a 87 MB 190e 2.3. What is there to be jealous of? I know you have the vibrating package from amg, which for you guys dont know what it is, its basically F'ed up engine mounts. Other than that I am kinda jealous that my car doesnt sound like a diesal truck. :clap:
