I have a motorola v400, and lately i couldn't send no text message to anyone..i can receive messages, but cannont send. When I try to send a message it says "Unable to send". Im not sure if it's my phone or fido that I'm with. I was able to send messages before, but just recently I couldn't. Anyone out there that can give me a hand?

I've never experienced this with Fido but I remember it happening with Rogers all the time. Give them a call *611 and talk to a rep their and tell them the situation. They can do a reset on their end and it should take care of.

did you send with the area code? only way i could send text messages is if i included the area code..

i have the same problem with rogers, and its not the phone because i've tried to send text messages on 3 different phones it doesnt work

yeah, i have to include area code for it to work

yeah, i found this out when I got my first GSM phone (the 8390).. and only way i could send text messages was if i included the area code.. so now i just save my contacts with the 403 in front of it.. problem solved :D

same problem with my fido earlier...have to put 1-403-# to TXT
