What browser are you using? the link works fine in firefox and IE for me...
you might wanna try doing a search for speedfan...I havn't used other programs personally, unfortunately, I don't know of any others.

I'd go for a rheobus. It's easier to turn a speed control knob than dick with software settings. I use the Vantec/Nexus NXP-201 and it works perfect with the exception of the rheostats being a little buzzy at lower fan speeds

40 bucks at MemEx..install is pretty straightforward: power into the rheobus, 4 terminals for fan outputs
