Try the Belly Buster at Nellie's on 17th ave. Or Diner Deluxe (so-so) or Belmont (never tried).

omg.. don't even remind me.. that brunch was the worst brunch I've had in my life.. it was pretty disgusting...

As for good breakfasts, only once have I been disappointed with Thompsons.. it's attached to the Hyatt Hotel...
Cooks are there to prepare what you want how you want it done (the eggs and etc).
Also a line of excellent dishes like Eggs Benedict.. mmMMmm
The one time I was disappointed, I went into the restaurant just a little before they were closing so a lot of the food was soggy.. yuck..
The huge problem w/ the breakfast is that it's around $32/person I believe.

Rockin robins.

It's pretty good, the omeletes are good and they have kick ass pan fries.

For the best breakfasts however, Banff Springs has my vote, though I know a lot of Golf and country clubs have wicked brunches (Priddis for example apparantly has a good brunch)

It isn't exactly in town, but if you're up for brunch for a special occassion, you might want to consider going up to the Banff Springs Hotel. Kinda pricey though. I think it's like $30 a person?

Try making it to Galaxy before 10AM...then it's not bad. The same guy owns the Belmont in Marda Loop, so menu's pretty simmilar.
Diner Deluxe (on edmonton trail) is amazing! By far my favorite. How can you bead french toast stuffed with cheese and bacon??? (I should keep this place a secret so that I don't have to wait in line ;) )
There's always Nellies, lot's of locations, but I'd prefer the others.
