I have an aftermarket head unit in my car. All along for the past 2 yrs, I've been listening to FM only. Just a few days ago, I decided to switch to AM (630 ched specifically).
I switched the radio to AM. I noticed that if I use the channel scan function, the scan does not stop at any station. It just loops thru the band (is that a proper term?) and cycles. I have to manually scan for the channel. When I do manuall go to a station (ie 630 ched), the volume is really subtle. I have to crank it up to hear it. If I switch the radio back to FM, the volume is really loud and I have to crank it down.
What's the scoop? :(
