14 days or not???

when you buy a car, do you have 14 days to get your shit together if you have a bill of sale or not,

btw: sorry because theres been numerous threads about this but it never applied to me until now

you need the bill of sale as soon as you buy the car i believe as you dont own it till the bill of sale is done. I think you have 14 days on registration, but there is no leway on insurance. (IIRC)

yea, you need the bill of sale as soon as you take posesion of the car... but you can take up to 14 days to get your plates switched over and insurance changed...

nuh huh you need insurance from the minute you drive it. the 14 days is just for registration

The 14 day rule is only for registration. You cannot even drive it for 10 seconds without insurance.
