I know the Mitsubishi dealership opened around Sunridge somewhere. Tried looking for it but couldn't find it. Saw a Mitsubishi Matrix look alike. Had to do a triple take on that one.

Peace

I saw an ad in the Sun about that dealership yesterday. I think its behind the mall, near the Spectrum theatres.

Talk to some kid at Saturday Races and he said that they are building the dealership right now and selling out of a trailer or something.

Tne new Mitsu dealership is open in the Calgary Auto Mall. Actually, the Calgary Area DSM Club is looking for someone to step up as liason between the dealership and the club for a show 'n shine and other possible events together. So far it looks as though our Social Coordinator is going to be conscripted.

There's also one on Barlow around Sunridge Way. It looks like they're running it out of a portable trailer as their showroom gets finished.

i know we might get the evo 7 but not the 8 something about the bumpers not meeting our safty standards

Actually if you look in the list of cars not allowed to be sent to Canada so far , ALL Lancers do not meet saftey standards, so the Evo wil have to get a new bumper before being intro'd here

the lancer OZ doesnt look too bad... and good price

the OZ lancer is a ripoff IMO. its just a stock lancer with a kit and some nicer wheels. might as well buy a civic that holds its value better and is more reliable.

and i think the reason the evo's bumper doesnt meet safety standards has to do with the huge fmic.

Hyatt mistubushi is now selling the 2003's out of the old Hyatt used car lot. They broke ground on the new dealership this week and should hopefully be open before spring. The new dealership in the south will have a full running parts department running out of hyatts main bulding till new dealer is ready. They will be carrying OEM parts as well as many aftermarket parts (much like T&T Honda)..

They are actually looking for experienced Mitsu. tech right now.

I don't think the Lancer EVO will sell here in Canada anytime soon, maybe in a couple of years.

there are not to many kicking around anymore.. after the talon was cancled many whet down to the states. I went to big 4 the otherday to ask on some engine parts, and they had to get the dsm guy who was just sitting around having a coffee. After 20 min there i finally got the one part i wanted.. a brake fluid resvoir cap.. (and talked about my swap a little)

I want to check out the Mitsu SUV's. In Japan they have this mini Montero which is like Samurai sized SUV with a big motor in it which is cool.

Peace
