I've still got my summer tires on, got my benz back yesterday, the roads look a little wet but no snow or anything on them, do you think it'l be frozen roads at night? I'm trying to figure out if i should drive the volvo or the benz to school tonight.

- The volvo has winter tires on it.

Take the Volvo, temperature will dip below freezing tonight and if the roads are still slushy, better safe than sorry

I drove my dads forester today, I feel so much safer in a AWD car during this weather.....if my car had snow tires, I wouldn't worry at all, but it doesn't

I drove my friends slk last winter for about a week, with the stock tires that thing was all over the road! even with traction control I was still fishtailing all over the place! kinda fun but scary too

well, here it is:

edit: Just kidding guys. That's not my car.

Everything is ok. I did go in the ditch though, but My Pa pulled me out w/ his truck tonight.

Thanks for the concern.

I do live SW out of town so there are usually not many other tire tracks for me. I was heading into the Fish Creek Park area w/ my low tread summers. There was 1 other set of tracks and it just started going to the left a little, so I turned to the right a little, but nothing happened. Then I gave it some gas while turning left but it wouldn't respond, just kept going left. I knew I was going in to ditch and I yelled "NOOOOO NOO NOO!" The ditch was about 5ft deep and very steep, the very steep up the other side too. Luckely I went in at not much of and angle so when I hit the bottom of the ditch, the corner of my front bumper wasn't way down. Just lucky. No damage at all. I took a little bit of draging because of the steepness of the ditch, when I got pulled out 10hrs later, but not a problem.

Winter tires now!

Ouch Graham! That sucks. As long as your okay though. Where did you go into the ditch? I know when it snows the roads out there can be pretty bad.

Hope everything works out okay for you

The weather's much worse today. I saw 6 cars smack the curb, including an orange 4th gen prelude that curbed and cracked the whole front bumper. First time witnessing how easy fiberglass cracks. Was that you shadowz?
