I currently have a V1 hard wired into my BMW. I am looking to sell this since I am selling my car.

With this V1 you will get power cord, instruction book, windshield mounting bracket, suction cups and the unit.

I am asking $400 CAN FIRM, please no low balling, if it doesn't sell locally I will be placing it on EBAY.

No, hardwired is you take the wire supplied with your v1, or a regular telephone cord (which v1 uses) and wire it into your fuse box etc... The v1, can easily be taken out, and if for whatever reason he cant remove the v1, you either order power supply from v1, or get a telephone cable, cut it open, and wire it up

Bump for my old v1

Thanks Ryder23 for the info on hardwired V1's.
The V1 comes with wires that allows you to hardwire the detector or you could just plug it into the cig lighter. The V1 can be removed from the car and both power supplies will be provided.

My car is in the garage getting a body kit put on. I should have it back tomorrow night and I will post the serial number.

Oh the V1 works awesome and has saved my ass many times. I am selling because I am planning to get rid of my car

Sorry I sold this V1 a while back

I have owned an 8500 and there is no comparison, V1 kicks it's ass, the 8500 is good if you want to know where every radar operated sliding door is located in the city.

don't I have your old V1?

The V1 is the BEST radar detector on the market :) I have 2 :)

The 1.7 is still an awesome detector. The 1.8 is a $189 USD upgrade.
