how much do you want to spend?

those are dual 4 ohm subs. you can also series/parallel them to achieve a 4 ohm mono load. if that makes it any easier for you.

many amps put out jack shit for power at 4 ohms....ie.rockford

but the JL Audio slash series will work for you

are the jl slash series amps particually the 250/1 and the 500/1
1 ohm stable?

They say like 500 W RMS @ 1.5 ohm-4 ohm does this mean they are 1 Ohm Stable????

:dunno:

No they aren't 1 ohm stable
even though this post is 3 days old

I used to have a 500/1 and wiring it to one ohm makes it put out half as much power and it distorts really easy and eventually shuts right off. And it heats up way too much.

Also, you should look at two-channel amps. Run one sub per channel, or bridge the amp to 4 ohms and wire the subs' coils in series and parallel the subs together to get one 4 ohm load.

Series the voice coils together for two 8 ohm loads and parallel those together for one 4 ohm load.
Hard to explain. Go to sounddomain.com and they have diagrams there I think.

hey man no worries JL amps have 100% regulated power..therefore it will make a minimum of 500watts at 8,4,2,1.5ohms...so wire them up at 4 ohms and you'll be laughing.
really nice amp though...good choice.
