Do all remote car starters for manual transmission vehicles have to be 'set - put in ready mode' in order for the remote starter to work?? This is such an inconvience even though its a safety precaution. Is there a remote starter for manual transmission vehicles that just start up everytime without doing this stuff??

With mine, all I have to do is set the e-brake and leave the car in neutral for it to set. I take out the keys and the car continues to run for about 15 seconds. Then it shuts off and arms the alarm. Or, if I don't want to set it for remote start I can push in the clutch or the brake and it will bypass remote start mode.

It sounds like HRD2PLZ has a Compustar alarm. I just think that because my friends CS Alarm does that too.

All manual car starters need to be set before you start. No question about it.
