I know its obvious, but it does exactly what the name suggests. It allows you to take off your rear bumper in like 2 minutes. :nut:

Bumpers are shaped like a parachute underneath. They slow the car down due to wind resistence.

the negativeeffect of a rear bumper is miniscule in aerodynamics. its all about having a smooth underbody to reduce turbulence.
