Speed Magazine premier issue

Just picked up the premier edition of Speed magazine, by the people of Road & Track. They are trying to set themselves apart from the other "tuner" magazines out there like Import Tuner, Modified, etc. They really do focus on tuning the cars, not I.C.E. or car model girls like the other tuner mags. http://members.shaw.ca/blinkme_210/editor.jpg
It's all very comprehensive, every 3/4 pages is a new article, no stupid ass ads. Altogether, I've counted about 20 pages of manufacturer ads for like oil, car manufacturers, tires. None of those cheap ass online imitation bodykit ads in Import Tuner, etc.

There's some pretty kool stuff in here, Lancer EVO MR, Drifting, JGTC, 2007 Skyline GT-R, Euro cars comparison round up, RX8 VS 350Z, etc. Here's some scans that I took from the mag.

So now we know why there's all these new wave of the current gen. RSX ads on TV & in the papers and stuff.

If you guys want to pick it up, try Chapters, Indigo, or Coles, guranteed convenience stores won't carry it. When their 2nd issue comes out, and if it's still just as good as this one, I'm gonna subscribe to it.

Do they talk about any modifications or is it just road testing import cars?

Are you sure? Because you can read the scan, it does say from a "reliable source". Not debating whether you're wrong or right, just saying.....

Car and Driver has their "BOOST" magazine too to cater to the import tuning crowd. Same idea. It's the same company anyways hehe.

got that magazine a few weeks back, IMO the magazine is lower tone and more european compared to tuner magazines like turbo, SCC, etc. And the major difference between ads in this magazine and the other tuner magazines are that its just missing those last 10 pages of pure ads. Other than that they look that same to me as ads in SCC

yea it was already discussed on clubrsx and they even have the picture that it was chopped from


its not loading for me right now but..
go to www.supercars.net and type in honda integra in the search field.
and then for the 2001 version it has the exact same front and back pictures that it was chopped from
