Two Way conversions

Thought this was pretty important, a bunch of one way streets in the downtown area are going to be converted into two way streets and since alot of you like driving, just thought I'd post up the link about it so you can be ready :)

Roads Becoming Two-way:


2nd Street SW from 10 Avenue. south to 26 Avenue SW
5th Street SW from 17 Avenue. south to Elbow Drive
25th and 26th Avenues SW between 2nd and 4th


Implementation will be completed in three phases:
Phase One - Sunday October 27, two-way traffic will begin on
2nd Street SW and 26th Ave.SW

Phase Two - Sunday November 3, two-way traffic will begin on
25th Ave. SW

Phase Three - Sunday December 1, two-way traffic will begin
on 5th Street SW

damn...i wonder how long it will take calgary drivers to finally realize that they will be 2 way instead of 1....i betchya there will be a shitload of accidents...

Damn that sucks. :thumbsdow It's nice being able to get out of downtown quicker that way... The whole intersection at 5th and Elbow is SO screwed up though I don't know how they're going to make this work! :guns: :banghead:
