I have a set. I love them. Saves your knuckles from cuts and scrapes. And helps keep your hands clean.

You can get them at Partsource or Canadian Tires for $25-30, depending which kind you want.

i had a set before, probably gonna get another pair soon, fer racing, i love them... i wouldn't use them much for working on cars because if you get them all greasy they get wrecked easy...

but they are great because you can actually feel your fingers

mechanix Gloves are made to be used under heavy working conditions, i have had about 4 pairs now, and trust me

you can get them greasy, wet, what ever just a quick throw in the wash and there back to thier original state.
they are IMO the best hand saving investment you can make

do you just toss it in with your normal laundry and wash it up?? won't that make your cloths dirty??

do a pre-wash then. also it recomends you don't dry them in the dryer but it didn't do anything to my pair. they are great, I have only have mine for about a month now and i have saved myself from stitches about 3 times. the grinder slipped and went across the top of my finger and it didn't even cut through the glove!!! sweet deal if you ask me.

One question....dont know how to put this, but do they make your fingers fat? Like are they in the way when you try to work? when for example when you take off a bolt in a tight space, do you need to take the gloves off to get at it easier?

they do a slight bit... but not nearly to the extent of other work gloves

I got mine, for a little over $60 a pair.. Well worth the cash. Whenever it's cold out, your hands are warm, dry and clean.. Whenever you slip, you keep your skin. It also adds grip, and is washable. The $30 pairs, get wrecked and are garbage in a week, opt for the expensive brands..

Or if you don't want the finger fattening, you can get the rubber mechanix gloves. They're basically the latex gloves your dentist wears. Work kinda the same way, but a little less knuckle protection.

I got that impact/gel padded one for $40ish at partsource.
CT and partsource have them on sale once in a while.
