Noooooooooo Whyyyyyyyyy??? Oh well 107 years is a good run. Gotta say, they are pretty good cars, mines ran for 120 000km with no problems, fast too!

How long ago did GM first announce they were killing the brand?
Good run indeed but you have to thin the herd every so often, and GM has put that off way too long.

Wow, that's kinda weird that they're cutting off the brand like that. I wonder if the value for oldsmobiles will drop much?

The 87-88 Cultass Supremes will always be one of my favorite cars of all time.
Still drive one every day. (not these though)

at least the older ones, no chance of an 92 achieva going up anytime soon

did you read the article?, it says the prodction will stop in june...
(it says is was scheduled for today, but they bumped it to the first week of june)
they announced this in 2001 i believe.
