Just as a general point of interest what are the rates you have to pay for speeding 10km/h ect.

As far as I know, it starts at 1km/hr over the limit which is a $50 offense. Then it goes up by $2 for every km/hr over, until you get 15 km/hr over.

15 over = $78
16 =$90
17 =$96
18 =$99
19 =$105
20 =$108
21 =$113

and so on. Got a pdf of all the fines (41 pages)....interesting read when you are bored.

Is it different if it is photoradar? There isnt demerit points but do you still need to go to court?

I just got a photo radar ticket for 17 over at $103 ... everytime I look to the smilies I search for the crying smiley.. but there isn't one.. is beyond too 'male' to be using crying smilies? wahhh
