wanting to purchase some rims for my 98 civic hb, looking at the konig tantrums, or rated-r...wondering what size is ideal...i dont want any trouble with it rubbing against sidewalls and stuff..
would 17" be okay?? or should i be safe and get some 16" or something

17 will have no problems, even lowered very low, 18 might be a bit different , but if you do get the right offset, you should be on your way

Depends on your needs. 17" is ideal for show. If you ever want to do autocross or track. Go 15"!

Rota's are cheap(relatively) , but I think you need to be lowered significantly for them to look their best.

those are the most common wheels around here, but if you really like the 2 I say go for the rated-r 16" and drop your car w/ proper springs at least 2" and you're all set...

17" is also good if you want to go bigger than sixteens

You would also want to check out the offsets of the wheels, whether you want it flush to your fenders or inside a little, it depends on your preference...

those rota's are amazing rims!
i have a good friend whose cousin has them on his white civic hatch, and it looks sweet.
pretty sure they are 15's

offset is the distance from center of the rim to where it meets up with the hub. i think thats how it goes.
