Right now I am doing what I enjoy for a "regular" career (real estate and financing), but I am working my way into film as an actor as my REAL passion for a career...

my dream job is to open up my own tuning shop. i would love to run one, and have lotsa :bigpimp: cars around. either that or run a high end dealership.

as for what i am going to do with my life, i am going to go back to school in a year to become a social worker. so many different areas you can move into, and the pay isn't half bad either.

Currently an accounts analyst for Datagroup right now.. My real dream job would be something to do with Investments or M&A.. i'm almost there.

My never going to happen dream job is to become a Pro soccer player in Europe.

Always wanted to go into sales as well though.. can't really decide :dunno:

My dream job would involve property investment. I want to learn how to invest in property and live off the revenue. That way, I can work only when I feel, and i'll have a lot of free time after I become established.

an acquaintance from school does that.. i think he's 26 now.. owns 1/2 an apartment complex, 2 houses, a couple Condos.. he basically told me he bought a house in Edmonton for cheap, rented it, and then went from there..

The best thing (for a woman) is a famous guy's wife. All you have to do is date him whilst taking his money, marry him, take his money, divorce him, and take his money, house(s) and stuff. That's the life.

No word of lie

I want to be the head of an evil corporation that has complete control over a major city. One that has my own triad to "get the job done", a chinese resturant built into the company skyscraper with an basement designed as a thug hideout, and an underground parkade in this resturant that is full of black civics as gangmobiles.
The corporation itself will simply be purely profits, and rely on "unfortunate accidents" within other companies that gives me an opportunity to buy them out.

And I am going to be starting all of this with my U of C business degree in a few years

They were looking for a tools programmer in the middle of april, which is what I applied for, they were just looking for a degree, knowledge of C++ and Visual C++ and a couple other things, I had what they wanted, I just didn't have my degree, only a diploma.

I'm looking towards being a Land Man as I'm currently in Petroleum and Land Management. The real career will be investing though - real estate, stocks and perhaps one day running a golf course construction company (I've done course construction for the last few years and have made good contacts.)

I wouldn't mind being like the GM of a Car dealership or something like that. or a Tuning shop. Just to drive test and tune cars would be a great days work and play

I can't say i've given up on what I want to do, there's just soooo many things, but I can say i can strike one off,... I did own a bar, made lots of $$, then logging collapsed (small logging/fishing town) while fishing was dying,.... sold out, but heard 4 months later it closed.

Now I'm in construction mainly reno's and enjoy it quite a bit,... As long as I make my $200/day working 10-4,... I still have time for my kids and my car, alls good.

But a dream I hope make to reality (just a metter of finding the right person to invest),... just like a few others would like,... a tuning shop,... fairly larger showroom/retail (with seperated sections), and 3 bay's in the back, 1 for custom fabricating/manufacturing performance parts, and 2 for misc installs graphics and etc. Ideally would like to have a paint booth as well,.... pretty much a "one stop mod shop".

Unfortunately, I'll need about $20k in stock, and about $50K in equipment (machining lathe, crush bender, mandrel bender (optional), powder coating station, 2 welders (1 to start), 2 hoists (optional - could use 4, 7 ton jacks and jack stands), 2 tire install/balancing machines (can start with only one) and and misc air tools.

Damn I hate when my dreams go into such detail,...lol

Let's see, most medical schools expect an undergrad degree - although rarely they'll accept someone with as little as 2 years of undergrad. So let's say 4 years.

Med school 4 years.
Cardiothoracic surgery residency 6 years. Most residents take a year to do research in order to have a Master's. This is usually required in order to get a fellowship.

Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery 2 years.

4 + 4 + 6 + 1 + 2 = 17 years of post-secondary! The good news is that you'll only be considered a student for 8 years. The rest of the time, you get to be called doctor.
