I wont predict the Flames, but I'll say Philly in 6... they pose a problem TB hasnt had to face yet: size, grit, and skill... it will be a much tougher series than most people think.

San Jose is a very fast team that has played in shorter series than Calgary. Calgary beat Detroit and to a degree Vancouver with our speed. San Jose should be a good series with two amazing goaltenders. I think Calgary needs to come out physical and hopefully we get Simon back!

I do think Calgary wants it worse than San Jose so I'm gonna say Flames in 6.
I'll also go out on a limb and say Philli in 7.

I think Calgary and San Jose will be an interesting series ... with the Vancouver series, it could have gone either way and with Detriot, even though they were more experienced, we dominated them with speed and work ethics.

San Jose are a younger faster team and like davidI said both teams have great goaltenders. Just like Detriot, San Jose are a puck possession team. Unlike Calgary and Vancouver who play the dump and chase.

I think keys for Calgary are the following;

- as with any game, controlling the face off is always important
- continue with their great shot blocking
- control the game using their blueline, like I've already said, San Jose is a puck possession team so if we can stop them at our blueline and make them play the dump, we'll have an advantage.
- and of course, continue their physical and hard working game :)

Unfortunately, I think San Jose will be the last stop for us. They have a style which is fucked up but it wins to say the least and they are indeed a faster team than we are.

Philly will just absolutely wreck Tampa, Tampa has yet to face such an adversary in these playoffs, I don't think they will mount to the task

If you look at the Herald to day, all the writters for the Herald and other Western paper mark down their predictions...it really pisses me off cause pretty much every one (including the Calgary writters) pick SJ...what a bunch of fuckin losers, even if you think SJ will win, I think a public voice should aleast humor the readers and say the flames will win. I donno, I guess Im a little over protective of the flames? :dunno:
