1989 Ford Probe Baffling

bought this car supposedly only needed a half shaft. now that is fixed and it will NOT idle. It misses terribly unless you hold it to the floor. Changed the O2 sensor since that is what the trouble codes were saying and nothing got better

Try your sparkplugs and wires. Could also be a problem with the injectors. I dont see a connection between the half shaft and idle speed though.

Do you have one or two O2 sensors? Some cars have 2 im not certain if your car has both though. How about the timing?

Please post your engine size.

There is only 1 O2 sensor. The engine size is 2.2L
