Good Tranny Mechanics

Anyone on here recommend any tranny shops? I need a rebuild. Its a BMW tranny but I know a tranny is a tranny is a tranny so if anyone can recommend a place that would be awesome!!

Is it possible to get a used tranny instead? A rebuilt tranny never feels the same.

I heard that syncros going on the E30 transmissions is common so I would rather rebuild then buy one that will end up with the same problems in the near future. The only place I found a used 325is tranny is Manchester and they want $900. I figured a rebuild would be roughly the same price. If its way more I'll get the used one.

Does anyone know of anyone that has a used 325is tranny?
