It's very very quick though. You'd burn off alot of clutch and Front wheel rubber if it was 5spd.
Oh yeah, it's FWD.
Very very quick car. No rice except for a tiny tiny sticker that was special ordered.

Ok, I will consider trades for newer sportbikes (2001+)
But only for CBR's, GSXR, R1, R6. Nothing else :) + cash of course.
:) The NA was my daily driver. The turbo is the fun car. But it's hardly ever driven now so I thought I would sell them and get one car I'm going to drive year round.
My final price is 15,900 (Canadatrader).
That's just a few hundred dollars more than NA Eclipses! Plus you get turbo, mods, big rims, and auto to boot! :) (Yeah yeah, but think of all the wear and tear you save with it being auto).
I've never spun my front wheels (whereas my NA I used to spin the fronts ALL the time, and for no reason too!).
This car is quick. And if you're looking for a good deal, this be it.
Nicely maintained, not abused (I'm old). :)
Comes out in the trader tomorrow (for $16,900).

This is easily the best/cheapest Eclipse for sale in the paper/autotrader.

Just kidding, thanks for the bump. I think it might be priced too low. People are thinking, 'what's wrong with it.' When in fact it's totally solid.
I should raise the price up a bit (people are so wierd when it comes to buying cars). If it's too high no one will look at it, if it's too low, same deal.
My turbo is priced $400 more than NON-Turbo's in the paper! And it's got crazy mods, + 18" wheels. Whaaat. I will never understand.

Cheapest, newest turbo Eclipse. Plus look at the mods and wheels.
It's a great deal if you're buying an eclipse (or show me one that's better?)

Turbo'ing a RS is a waste of time/money. Check out clubdsm. Plus you get all the turbo goodies (like bigger brakes etc).
And a base Eclipse is going for 14-15K, you can buy mine, turbo'd for that much and get big rims, mods etc.
Stock intercooler, I may post more pics later.
Insurance: Is cheap, but I'm old :) And they didn't care if it was turbo or non. I have had both cars insured. No difference for me anyways.

Grey is the best colour out there. Matching gunmetal wheels. What more can you ask for?
It has Stage 3 mods done right up the Turbo. It's time to upgrade the turbo to T28 or bigger?
I think I might be doing that and bumping up the price. It has all mods done except for the 02 housing port and that will happen when the turbo comes out. :)
For 15G's, it's easily the fastest, best car here. Too bad kids don't have money :(

You got any like 800x600 pics of the car. Maybe shots of everything, not just a little 3/4 blurred pic of the car would help it sell.

There's nothing OBVIOUSLY or non-obviously wrong with it.
Come check it out. Take it to a mechanic and/or body shop.
Stock ECU. Upgraded fuel pump.
Basically has Stage 2 Greddy mods. Ready for Turbo (and more fuel mods). T28 ready :)
Pics: The picture is from the autotrader ad. More might be coming.
(IE, if you can't be bothered to check out the car, then pics aren't going to do you much good).
I'm selling it for 15G's because I sold my NA, and I want to buy a FDCS :)
Also, I will fix ANYTHING mechanically that is wrong with the car.
IE, if you get it inspected at a dealership, and they say it needs brakes now, they will be put on. Or anything like that.
(It's in that good a shape, anyone else want to make that claim about their cars?)

so it has stock injectors? then before the turbo upgrade, it needs bigger injectors... id like to see more pics because i am interested in the car, but not interested in driving for 3 hours to see it
It doesn't need bigger injectors if it's a T28/14b and boost is kept below 14psi (which it's way under).

If you do have pictures of the car, why won't you just save all of us the trouble of asking/pm'ing you, and just post them on here? It seems that you're really eager to sell the car, but yet you're not inclined to promote the sell.
I'm eager to sell the car. And I'll email pics if someone is serious about it buying.

It's a turbo eclipse. It looks exactly like it is in the picture above.
It's 15K, if someone was looking for a seriously quick car (stage II mods) a T28 would make this car scream (I'll even install it for you if you want).
The only drawback this car has is it's automatic (but in this car I think it's still better than five speed, no replacing expensive rubber or burned clutches).
Show me a newer, faster, better looking car here (or in the paper etc) for 15K.

I'll install a T28 or 14b if you want to upgrade (you bring me the turbo and parts, or I can find them for you).
Current T25 is perfect (no shaft play, leaks etc), but it really deserves a big turbo!

Tell me about it. Auto is for the avg. soccer mom unless you do some major mods to the car.
But otherwise good luck selling it. You should get a better pic though. I'd take it if it were 5 spd. I saw a 5 spd AWD one but it had alot of kms on it. :banghead:
It should only be .3 seconds slower than a 5spd. dsmforums.com has tons of info on AT tranny's.
The car was originally going to be modded up to the 320-350 HP range so I wanted something driveable (no spining out in the first 2 gears) and reliable.
Oh yeah, 5 spd is fun to drive if you have a sub 200HP car. After a certain amount of power, they're played out.
It's great starting in second gear and feathering the clutch. This car is destined for high HP numbers, I hope the future owner realizes that everything is in place for that.
I'll even do the 16G swap for it. :)

The stock turbo is a T25 (perfect condition, no shaft play btw), but it's kinda small and at the limit of this car's potential.
I can swap a bigger turbo, like a 14b, T28, or 16G(!) if you like for more power.
Those turbos + kits run around 2-800 bucks.
Runs very fast right now, just letting people know Stage II mods are in place for a bigger turbo. Mechanically solid car so it can handle the extra HP :)
Ok, $13,400. My final price. It won't go any lower, I'll just keep it if it doesn't sell.
