LOL, I wouldn't want this to sound too mean, but if you really want to get into bikes at your age, you should start by getting a smaller dirt bike. Then, once you turn 16, get a car. Any car, and if you like speed, get a sports car.

Once you have a few years of experience on the road, and I do mean a FEW, then start thinking about a street bike.

Road experience is really important!

But yeh, start with a dirt bike! You will love it!

In town there's Blackfoot bike park.

You would have to find buddies who are older and have trucks or go with your parents if they go camping.

How much do you weight? I would suggest you something like a 100-150CC dirt bike. Then again, you might kill yourself!

If you want something fun to ride and to learn on, I started with downhill mountain biking. There are a few places around Calgary where you can go and you can start practicing right at COP. It is not a too expensive sport, and you will see, as the time will pass, you will move into bigger and better machines. Also, you will learn a lot of technique on 2 wheels.

I have been DN hill MT biking for over 10 years and still loving it! (I am 23 now so I started at your age)

Look for ski sloaps where they bring you up on the lift chair and you just go downhill. You are never DONE with Downhill mountain biking!

Make a search for places that have Down hill mountain biking. I bet you you have never done that!

It is not the same thing as going and riding it off-road in a park! Lots of technique envolved and there are a few trails that even after 10 years I still do not go down on! Too much technique involved!

Also, to ride any motor vehicle over 50CC you need to be 16. You can get a scooter when you turn 14 and those run around 1500$. They go up to 60km/h, but if you will buy one of those, you will be a king in your HS!
