ok, this was inspired by the name your ideal car thread. first step, pick any car manufacturer, and write down what YOU would like to see them build.

i would like to see toyota bring back a true sports car, i.e. next generation supra. toyota sales are very very strong, and i think a halo car like that would only increase their popularity.

what do you all want to see??

I would love to see someone else (GM) take the lead that dodge did with the turbo neon.

I know they are producing the cobalt with a blower and 200hp but I think they should take a economy car and throw a good turbo engine in there and sell it for 25k.

As with a few others, I too want to see a Toyota Supra, or any other RWD 2 door coupe. Its time Toyota started selling some sports cars again, instead of selling Camrys and Corollas to baby boomers.

Mitsu Eclipse to lose some weight and get some boost.

A 2005 Ford Probe GT!

but on a realistic note I'd like to see a decent car represent Mazda (next RX7 maybey), that is actually decently fast (not current RX8)

I'd like to see the Audi A3 here in Canada with an affordable price tag.

I'd also like to see cars such as the R32 and Evo make it to Canada.

I'd like to see some of the european companies market their cars in North America, such as Alfa Romeo.

I'd like to see more small european hatches to choose from in North America, with quick fuel-efficient turbo engines. And better diesel engines.

a new corrado would be cool. especially if it had AWD. i think we need more small AWD turbo cars, but more affordable ones. hyundai accent AWD turbo, mazda 3 AWD turbo, and maybe some sorta new corolla hatch, you guessed it, AWD turbo. cause the 123 hp Matrix AWD won't cut it!

Chrysler: PT Cruiser GT AWD - they just confirmed they won't build this though :(
Dodge: Any of the Charger concepts - they all look good and are well designed but so far no green light on production :(

GM: They need to redesign the GTO - nice car but it doesn't do the GTO name justice. Call it a Bonneville or something that doesn't matter and reengineer the GTO to look more worthy of its namesake.

Ford: something needs to be done with the Taurusaurus - I dunno what though lol

Honda: Build some trucks, then build SUVs on the truck platform, SUVs on car platforms are just silly.

Toyota: Supra. nuff said.

Mazda: Dump the renesis engine.

Honda doesn't turbocharge there cars. A turbo RSX with TEINS would be sweet though. The K-series engines are starting to gain some serious power, alot more than the B-series.

Oh yeah, I think a couple of people have already said it. They need to bring back something small (less than 2400 lbs) with RWD that has some decent power (more than 200hp). I don't remember if Dodge was going to produce the Cobalt or not, but that might be a nice car to drive.

The Cobalt is GM - you might be thinking of either a Slingshot (only 100hp though) or the Razor (2500 lbs and the concept was RWD with a Turbo 2.4L good for 250 hp).

Like the saturn redline ion? It's blown though, not turbo.

Things I would like to see is what is already happeneing in the Car Market right now...Although for CND Enthusiasts it does kinda suck, but we have cars like the STi, SRT-4, Evo's, Mazdaspeeds (both Protege and Miata's)...lil Turbo compacts that are selling like mad and bringing boost and fun back to the masses, like in the early 90's...

But Toyota should build a stripped down re-vamp of the MK III Supra...RWD, IRS, and Boost:burnout:

mitsu should dump all their engines and have just the 4g63 in all their cars..mass production can save money and maybe save em from dyin. any car.
