Friend is coming in from Vancouver tomorrow, and she's taking me out to dinner, so what are your suggestions for restaurants that have good food and are on the classier/pricier side??

as an aside, anything besides sushi/steak??

Thanks!!

Depends on what you consider pricey/classy? I always thought A&W was a bit pricey compaired to McDick's  J/K

Through word of mouth of heard of a place called Bolce Lounge. In my 3.5 years of exploring restraunts in Calgary this was the best experience! Amazing ambiance, and serving things like a hot plate, and fondue you'll find yourself posting a thread on beyond! :D

5 out of 5!

Bolce Louge
720 11th ave
266-3257

Where bodega used to be.

No steak?!

If you come to Alberta you HAVE to try Alberta beef!

Want to impress her and have a great time - take her to Murrieta's Restaurant and Lounge.

Trust me, it's a sweet place but nothing too expensive, well maybe expensive if you're making minimum wage but it doesn't sound like you do.
You could also try the Living Room. Believe me they're both deadly.

does her taking you out to dinner have anything to do with you wanting to go to a pricier/classier resteraunt?

Yeah, it all goes on her (my former) company's tab, so price really isn't an object seeing as how it is a "business meeting" :D
