Work in Alaska?

I'm thinking move to Alaska. Just curious if someone had experience working there. How did you like it there? How much people earn there? What is the most pay jobs in Alaska?

It probably depends on where you are, but I don't speak from experience or anything like that. I heard when I was in highschool that you can often get extra pay for various hardships such as if its really cold or if you are so far north that there is a significantly reduced amount of daylight... ehh thats about all I know. So, nothing.
