that CRX isn't just any CRX. its very quick if im not mistaken. i dunno what all has been done to it and i dunno if the new owner would want me telling you but if you want to know. just ask someone here will.

You can use the hook to pull a car off the track with ease. I think that's the main functional reason it's there.

Why an aftermarket tow hook thats clearly visible?

Its used on race cars, rice cars, or what ever because factory tow hooks are unusable due to lowering of car, the giant battle bumper is covering them, or in this case it looks mean as hells and kills it in car shows.

i herd its put on for when u back up into something and ur car is really low to the ground that peace of metal that looks like a tow hook, will hit the concrete or w.e before then of ur exhast hits it and dents the metal in. but thats what i herd so i could be wrong :dunno:
