I live near the 1st Street S.W. clubs between 12 and 13 Av... and often I pass by the strip on the way home. At night, you can't believe how many taxis are out there circling the streets to look for fares.
What pisses me off is that whenever they see someone waving them down, they immediately slam on the brakes as hard as they can. I've had a few close calls before but tonight I almost rear ended a taxi.... it was so close that I thought I hit him. I think I will take the long way home next time.
TAXI DRIVERS, STOP DOING STUPID THINGS! WAIT FOR A FARE AT THE TAXI ZONE IN FRONT OF THE CLUBS!
