View Full Version : Anyone with a Toshiba Satellite?

I just bought a Toshiba Satellite off of my buddy. It needs a format, does anyone know what button to prss during start-up to get into the BIOS so i can change it? thanks!

You can press F12 during the startup to change where it boots from (Floppy, HD, CD-ROM, Network), at least thats way it works on mine. Next time I restart my computer I will let you know.

It's F2 to get into Setup. At least on my Toshiba Satellite 1100

My Satellite A40 was F2 as well

As soon as you see the bios screen, hit em all - that's my laptop tip of the day!. :thumbsup: :D

It depends on the age of the toshiba laptop. I have two Toshibas, one you press F2 on boot the other is F12...
It should say which one you press for boot device selection when the computer is booting up.
