Has kind of this new edge styling thing a la ford going on. All hard angles and stuff. Not too bad looking though.

I don't think so... it is still definatly BMW.

It's supposed to be a cheap model (ie Ford Focus range) combined with SMG and BMW? That's a steal of a deal.

Yeah, I know they want more market share, I'm hesitant about quality when they start going for the lower price point. I guess I would have to see it in person, I usually have my opinion perform a 180 once I see it live. It was the same with Kennys car...never really thought much of the SLK's untill then...damn...I got a real awakening...

The back looks kinda cool, but the front might take a while getting used to.

I dunno what's been up with BMW's designs lately, but (IMO) their cars are starting to get grosser to look at. E46's are the last decent design if you ask me. (The Z8's pretty sweet, but as far as mass production cars...)

I don't mind the headlights. The smile in the bottom below the grille was a little odd looking.

If you look at the front view pic, the crease they've put in above the rear wheel arches are very reminiscent of the new Celica styling (IMHO) - no?

Personally I don't like this car, I don't know what it is but something about an "entry-level" BMW irks me. IMO there is too many 'character' lines on this car and it just seems cluttered to me, not classic BMW at all. But I guess they need something to compete with MB's "entry-level" car.

don't like the looks. . .

Bimmers are supposed to have square or close to square curves, (with exception of their roadsters) just doesn't seem at all "Bimmer Like"

Entry level reminds me of 318... A dissapointing vehical that still cost $30K...:nut:

If you can afford the $30K what's another 10 K for the 325? (At that time)

The 318 were very slow, a whopping 138hp.

They can get a 316i in Europe... 0-60 in 12.4s...

The $30K car level isn't for people with money, either.
