Negative on that. England will not win. Gonna be tough to even get out of there group with France (even after the huge WC2002 debacle) and Croatia. However, I do think England will be a force at WC2006.

My bet is on the Dutch or Italians to take Euro 2004. Portugal as the host team will have tonnes of pressure on them to make it far especially with a player like Figo in the squad.

after looking at the England squad Sven picked, they'll be VERY lucky if they win it. The defense looks alright and midfield looks promising, strikers are shakey.

I think the Portugal or Italy's going to win it.. The dutch has a lot of firepower but they are shakey on defense.. still can't figure out how Gilardino can be left out of the squad but Da Vaio is in it..

Portugal has always had a dominating squad. They just cant seem to win though, its a shame.
I believe France will win.

w3rd to that man, england all the way.
no Rio though which REALLY hurts our defence, but we were able to take turkey without him so hopefully they can struggle through the loss of him and still have a solid defence.
Midfield, dont even need to say anything about them. everyone knows england has one of the top midfields in the world.
strikers, Owen is skilled and when on his game is one of the top strikers in the world. hesky and vassel are questionable at times. and rooney is very young and still developing.

i still think we have a good chance but like Roadrage said, they will for sure be a favorite for 2006 with 2 more years of development and a major tournament out of the way for the young guys.

im picking england or *shudders* france to take it.

but i think spain and portugal will end up near the tops, and god i'd love to watch them play since they'd have the most fan support = more adrenaline = better game

yes, but you only get 2 substitutions per matchday (I think).. so it's not wise to have a wide range of players from different teams.. I usually stack my roster up with 2-3 teams max..

The Dutch has the power, they're missing something though.. Defence is a little bit shakey.. who knows.. I don't think the Dutch will do very well unless they figure out wtf is wrong.. losing to Ireland in that friendly was pitiful, they totally outclass the irish.
