you have two blow of valves?

Doesn't the HKS bolt on to thew stock position, don't knwo much about FI but this seems strange.

Check your wastegate actuator, if it stays open that would cause what you are talking about except power loss.

And yes, what do you mean remove the stock one, you should have one or the other.

Im confused

:dunno:

I am guessing that the only reason you changed it was for the Wh000sh sound :dunno:....

Your 1.8T vw will be using a diverter valve (DV) which will recirculate the air back into the system unlike an external venting BOV...and from what you've posted it sounds like you actually kept the stock DV on there and then also installed a BOV??? :dunno:

My recommendation: Get rid of the BOV now and leave your stock DV in...your car was designed to use a DV not a BOV, you CAN run a BOV but alot of people have problems (running rich etc..)
If you're wanting noise then maybe look at getting an intake...

on the intake tube coming from the turbo under the car and to the intercooler there is a littel round valve im guessing what would that be

would that be the dv or the bov

Your stock ( DV ) one should be by your Air box if not in it, I dont know VW's

You ONLY have a Diverter Valve...if you put both a BOV AND a Diverter valve you are an idiot...

This is how it works ok??

Airbox-->Turbo-->Intercooler-->Diverter Valve-->Intake Manifold

If you do not know how the system works READ up on it, then start modding...

A Blow Off Valve releases the boosted air into the atmosphere

A Diverter Valve, does just THAT diverts the boost air elsewhere, in your case BACK into the intake stream of air...

Your ECU will have fuel to compensate for said boosted air and when you vent it, you are messing with the ECU and not making it happy, running rich for a second...

Just leave it all alone...pull the car into your garage and hit the net to read before you mess things up Bro...
